Global Head of Strategic Investments, JPMC
Luis Valdich is JPMC’s Global Head of Strategic Investments and manages a team of investment professionals based in New York, London and Hong Kong which partners with lines of business firm-wide in sourcing, assessing, executing, and managing strategic principal investments. JPMC’s strategic investments portfolio is over $3bn and includes over 100 companies primarily involved in financial market infrastructure, services and financial technology. Luis represents and/or has represented JPMC in several portfolio companies’ boards as director, alternate director or observer including Markit, Tradeweb, OTCDeriv, Maxeler, and BOX. Luis joined J.P. Morgan in 2008 in his current role and was previously a management consultant at McKinsey, venture capital principal at Softbank, and investment banker at Credit Suisse. Luis received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
