Alejandro Echavarria

Alejandro is Managing Partner at Marathon Ventures. Previously he was a Partner at Sabricas, a single-family office with investments in infrastructure, real estate, private equity, and venture capital. He led digital transformation teams at Compas, Colombia’s largest multipurpose port network, and Central Aerospace, where he led a turnaround to turn the company into an industry leader in aircraft MRO services. He was chairman of the board at Mensajeros Urbanos, a company he helped through change management. Alejandro is an angel investor in several startups in Latin America, the US, and Europe.
