Luisa Suárez

CEO of Vitalmex since 2020, Luisa has more than 25 years of experience in corporate governance processes, legal and talent strategies, risk management, internal control, social responsibility and compliance.

Appointed as CEO of Vitalmex Grupo in 2020, Luisa was put in charge of a transcendent company transformation project to redefine a new, more agile and sustainable organizational structure,  ensure the continuity of international expansion in the USA and Germany and contribute to improving the health and quality of life of patients.

Luisa first joined Vitalmex in 2014 as Legal Director and worked on an intense corporate governance implementation project, through which opened the areas of internal audit, compliance, risk management and internal control. In 2016, the Board of Directors assigned her as interim CFO where she led the financial and legal team that executed the due diligence and the tax and legal structuring process for the acquisition of a minority percentage of the company by the Australis Patners. Additionally, during this period Luisa was also in charge of the company's syndicated loan renegotiation for $1,400 million pesos and coordinated the process-reengineering project for the implementation of SAP S/4Hana with PwC.

After this, Luisa was assigned like Director of the Human Capital area, to carry out one of the most relevant challenges of institutionalization which was the CEO succession, process through which an Executive, who was not a member of the family, was incorporated like CEO of the company.

Luisa's professional career began in law firms such as Camil Abogados, S.C., Santistevan Abogados, S.C. and Sámano Abogados, among others, with a focus on corporate law and serving as Secretary of the Board of many companies.

Luisa has a Bachelor of Law from the Universidad Panamericana and two master's degrees: an LL.M.  in American Law awarded by Washington University and a Master's Degree in Transnational Legal Practice awarded by the School of Government and Public Transformation of Tecnológico de Monterrey.
