Carlos Kokron

Carlos Kokron (CK) is Vice President and Managing Director, Americas at Qualcomm Ventures. He is responsible for the investments and business development teams in the Americas investing and supporting the development of portfolio companies focused in 5G, AI, Automotive, Connectivity, IoT and XR.

He currently serves as a board director or observer at AiFi, Augury, FourKites, Particle, SPAN and Tive. Earlier at Qualcomm Ventures he invested in Altiostar (Rakuten), Matterport (MTTR), Spyce (SweetGreen), 99 (DIDI), Loggi, CargoX, QuintoAndar, Strider (Syngenta) and Zoop (Movile), among others.

CK has been investing in and supporting entrepreneurs in the US and LatAm for the past twenty years, having started Intel Capital’s activities in LatAm in late 1999. He started his career as a process engineer at Unilever in Brasil and later worked as an operations and optimization engineer at Chevron in California.

CK received his MBA from UC Berkeley and holds BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife and is the proud father of two young men.
