Daniel Epstein

Daniel Epstein is an Partner of BTG Pactual and a senior member of the Investment Team, with fourteen years of experience in the investment industry. Daniel oversees investments in different sectors, such as ports, toll roads, energy and consumer goods, and his main responsibilities include origination, analysis, structuring, execution and monitoring of investment opportunities.

Daniel serves as a board member and is responsible for managing Latin America Power (LAP), Tropicália Transmissora S.A. and Contrail. Daniel was also a board member and managed the investment in Aigües Ter Llobregat (ATLL) until its sale in 2015. Daniel joined BTG Pactual in March 2011 and worked in BTG Pactual’s LatAm Transportation & Capital Goods Equity Research team before joining the Private Capital team. Prior to joining BTG Pactual, Daniel spent one year in Equity Research at Morgan Stanley. Daniel holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
