Dominique Senequier

Dominique Senequier is the Founder and President of Ardian, a European leader and global privateinvestment house, with over 152 billion USD of assets under Management, covering Private Equity, Real Assets and Credit.

Dominique Senequier has long recognized that finance must operate as a force for good in society. As early as 2008, she pioneered the practice of sharing the value realized on exit with all employees of portfolio companies. She has placed sustainability at the core of the way Ardian invests and how the company measures the performance of its portfolios. Since 2021, Ardian has been instrumental in the creation of the first and world largest dedicated fund to Green Hydrogen.

Dominique Senequier has won recognition internationally for her contribution to the finance industry, regularly appearing at the top of the rankings of the most powerfuland influential personalities in the world. In 2021, she was promoted Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by the President Emmanuel Macron. In 2023, she was elected to the Institutde France in the “Académie des Sciences Morales etPolitiques”.

She was instrumental in the creation of the Ardian Foundation in 2010, which aims to promote social mobility and inclusion for children, young people and entrepreneurs. To continue and increase its impact on social mobility, the Foundation has decided to focus on early childhood.

 Ms Senequier serves as a Vice-President of the Supervisory Board of Hermès.

 In 1972, she was among the first seven women ever admitted to École Polytechnique, the top scientific and engineering institution in France.
