Jennifer McLeod Petrini

Jen is IFC’s Regional Lead for fund investments and direct early stage investments in Latin America. IFC seeks to build key partnerships with VC funds, PE funds and entrepreneurs who are disrupting traditional business models in LatAm. Jen began her career with IFC in the Cairo office, and was then based in Istanbul for 4 years, where she covered new and existing funds business for IFC’s funds practice. Prior to joining IFC in 2010, Jen worked at EMP Global, a Washington-based emerging markets private equity firm. Jen has been investing in funds for over 15 years, sits on fund advisory committees and has overseen investments in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Europe, Asia and across Latin America. From 1999-2005 she worked for Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas in New York in Interest Rate Derivative and Credit Derivative trading and operations. Jen has a B.A. in International Business from Lehigh University and an M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).
