Gregory Reider
Gregory Reider is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Volpe Capital, a venture capital fund seeking to obtain long-term capital appreciation by investing in tech and tech-enabled high growth opportunities in Latin America. Greg has over 15 years of investment experience working for leading global investment funds. As one of the initial senior investment professionals of Warburg Pincus in Brazil, Greg helped establish Warburg’s local presence in 2012 and acted as a Principal until 2020, leading investments in technology, retail and logistics.
Prior to Warburg Pincus, Greg was a partner at BR Partners, a local Brazilian merchant bank, where he led BR Partners $100 million private equity fund. Previously, he was an investment professional at Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he focused on special situations investments in emerging markets and energy. Greg is currently the Chairman of the Board of B3 listed Sequoia Logistica and a Board Member of B3 listed Petz, Enjoei and GetNinjas.
Greg has a BA cum laude in Economics and International Studies from Yale University.
