Gregorio Schneider
Gregorio Schneider is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of TC Latin America Partners, an institutional real estate fund manager that invests with an opportunistic approach in Latin America.
Gregorio has more than 25 years of experience in emerging markets, investing in both public and private markets through a variety of asset classes and strategies, including debt, equity, distressed assets, and real estate.
Prior to forming TC Latin America Partners in 2012, Gregorio was Managing Director and Head of Emerging Markets at Och-Ziff Capital Management (now Sculptor Capital Management). During his tenure at Och-Ziff, Gregorio was responsible for building the firm’s capabilities, strategic relationships, and investment portfolio in Latin America and Eastern Europe.
Before joining Och-Ziff, Mr. Schneider was the Portfolio Manager responsible for Emerging Markets special situations investments at The Rohatyn Group. He also worked at Spinnaker Capital, Crédit Agricole Indosuez, and the real estate division of Banamex.
Mr. Schneider has served on the board of directors of various Latin American companies and has been recognized by the World Economic Forum for his work with developing countries. He is a member of the Board of Qualitas of Life Foundation, The Proviváh Donor Fund, and the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School. He is also a member of the GPCA Latin America Council and the LAVCA real estate council.
Gregorio holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
